2023 ELITE SIRE PEDIGREES
CONNEALY CRAFTSMAN (USA20132505)
Connealy Craftsman is one of the most talked about bulls today. He was the $500,000 record breaking bull to sell from the Connealy Ranch.
I have been lucky enough to visit Conneally Ranch on numerous occasions and learn about their program which has been so successful both in the US and Australia, as well as many countries around the world. I inspected Craftsman lately and was blown away. The presence this bull has is incredible. He walked around so proudly as if to saylook at me,I am special and special he is. With a striking head, neck and and shoulder into a magnificent backline. Deep bodied and long with incredible muscle expression. His coat is so sleek. You look away from him to see other cattle buthe is back to show you how good he looks at every occassion. He is sired by Sitz Resilient 10208 out of the connealy Niobrara line. Rarely do you get a good looking bull with a EBV data set to match but in Craftsman you get the full package. He will have calves on the ground in the middle of February out of the Autumn Cows, so be one of the first to get in on the action. |
BALDRIDGE SR GOALKEEPER (USA19356243)
Goalkeeper is a Sydgen Enhance son going back to the famous Baldridge Isabel Y69 cow as well as the highly regarded Connealy Confidence Plus in his pedigree.
Good birth, high growth with large scrotal, exceptional docility, big EMA, with very good foot and leg angle. Inspected in 2022, he stood up proud, good head and jaw, very long with a slick coat. Deep and full of beef, Goalkeeper stood there for a pat, His progeny are very even at Glenmorgan and we cant wait to see how they perform in the herd. |
PINE VIEW MOGUL G241 (USA19502726)
Pine View Mogul G241 is an Angus Sire that has numbers off the charts. Over half of his EBV traits are in the top 10%. Mogul is a performance powerhouse. Not only does he have the numbers but he has the look to go with it. He is an exciting sire which includes calving ease and high end growth traits, but that is only the beginning.
His EMA and carcase weights are at the pointy end of the Angus breed and combines with exceptional foot scorer and indexes. Mogul stems from a cow family that reads as the whose who of maternal power which includes maternal grand dam Isabel Y69, an industry legend leaving her mark again in producing the best of thebest. This has been evident on the numerous visits to the Baldridge Ranch in the US. Mogul claves will be very exciting and look forward to how they perform at Glenmorgan and around the country. |
BEN NEVIS RAMBO R230 (NBNR230)
Rambo was purchased at 12 months in 2021 for $70,000 (Glenmorgan was part of syndicate group).
What a good spread of numbers he has. He looked good on paper but on inspection he was a real standout. A bull that is long and deep and full of meat. A very sleek coat with a solid sires head, thick soft top and expressive hindquarter. He is so docile and semen quality and calf getting is 10/10. The most fertile bull that I have ever used. Calves arrive small and early and then really start to grow. Excellent calving numbers with growth and with big EMA & IMF of +5.3. We are so excited for the future for Rambo both with bulls and his females retained in the stud. |
TE MANIA SHAR S493 (VTM21S493).A recent addition to Glenmorgan is the impressive Te Mania Shar S493 Sire. After following the Te Mania program for many years, I went to Victoria and purchased the magnificent sire in Te Mania Shar.
He was a standout. One of the heaviest bulls in the draft by Te Mania Legend L646 who has performed so well. He looked good from a distance and on closer inspection I was even more impressed. Super quiet, long with a sires head with a brilliant muzzle and jaw. Long as a train but packed full of red meat. Impressive calving ease data with moderate growth. Good scrotal size and high rib and rump fats with big IMF. His structural data is very good and Shar moves so easily. This fella has been used extensively at Glenmorgan and he is still in very good condition and always comes over to say g'day. A very good natural bull and cant wait to see his progeny. WATTLETOP PRECISE S76 (NWP21S76)A new addition last year in Precise. We have had such a successful run with Wattletop cattle and Precise looks the goods. A very well bred bull by Booroomooka Precise P411 out of the brilliant Rennylea L519 who has kicked some serious goals. On the Dams side you have the famous Barunah line with Musgrave Big Sky and Wattletop Franklin G188 which have been tremendously successful. He is a very solid all round bull in the flesh and on paper. Precise S76 is a standout in the structural department. He moves so well in the paddock and although heavily used he has held his condition so well. That's what you need in a bull. I am sure Precise will perform as well as the numerous Wattletop cattle previously purchased. Look forward to his calves hitting the ground.

WATTLETOP G188 N45 (NWPN45)
I can still hear in my head Loch Rogers telling me I need to get some G188 cattle into my herd. This I did in the purchase of N45 from their last sale and he has not disappointed. I also heavily used Wattletop Franklin G188 at Glenmorgan and they breed the house down.
N45 is one of the easist doing bulls I have seen. A big package of red meat that keeps performing. He has been a very good calf getter and has been popular in our Bull Sale as well as having numerous females retained in the stud. Very good on his calving ease as well as good growth figures combined with high IMF and top 2% for feed efficiency. N45 who is a Wattletop Franklin G188 son out of a Wattletop cow lines of Dandaloo and Usual. Any progeny of N45 will surely be highly sought after.

WATTLETOP GENERAL N3 (NWPN3)
Wattletop General N3 is another Bull that has performed so well for us. An Ayrvale General G18 son who has a lot going for him. He is as long as a freight train as well as being beefy. His progeny pile on the kilos. He is a calving ease specialist with plenty of growth. He has a large scrotal of +3.4. N3's progeny are very stylish. A big plus to the pedigree is the addition of Hyline Right Time 338 and one of my favourites in B/R Ambush 28 out of the Wattletop Usual line of cows. N3's progeny will not disappoint.
Three very impressive GAR Hometown sons out of Wattletop bred cows. Wattletop genetics have been the backbone of the Glenmorgan herd and haven't they done an amazing job.
The pedigrees are stacked full of superstars, GAR Ashland, B/R Ambush, Ten X, SAV Final Answer, Musgrave Big Sky and Wattletop E111 to name a few.
All these bulls have very good calving ease, good growth, big scrotal, EMA and have a big average of +5.2 for IMF. These Hometown sons are very neat. They have silky coats and are really meaty with good sire outlooks.

CHILTERN PARK MOE M6 (GTNM6)
Moe's reputation as a premier calving ease, structure and docility sire continues to grow. With great calving ease genetics he has over 3400 registered progeny in 189 herds and has one of the highest semen conception rates. Moe has been very heavily used in stud and commercial operations. It is very difficult to find a hole in Moe's EBV's

MUSGRAVE 316 EXCLUSIVE (USA18130471)
G A R PHOENIX (USA18636106)
GAR Phoenix – now this bloke is an interesting one. From inspecting him in America in 2018, I knew he was something special. He is the true low birth, high growth, with plenty of IMF and large scrotal. He comes from a very highly regarded program at Gardeners Ranch. Phoenix Bulls in this year’s draft are big stretchy fellas with lovely coats, they look great and have the numbers to back them up.
